Summary
Fifteen years after Tony Stark's sacrifice to save the universe, thirty-year-old Peter is balancing between being the new leader of superheroes, helping Pepper with Stark Industries, being a big brother to Morgan Stark, and being a husband for MJ and father to their son.
One day, an innocent accident sends Peter careening into a reality where, twenty years after Thanos snapped out half the universe, sixty-eight-year-old Tony Stark had watched his daughter grow up. He had lived with the knowledge that there was nothing they could do to bring back Peter Parker and others that were lost, and had stopped trying to be a hero ever since he failed in the one moment it mattered.

"Love. . ." She trailed off, brows furrowed, "Love isn't always enough to make someone stay, Tony."
His eyes met hers, the green shining from the weak streetlights nearby, and he wondered when that had become his favorite color.
"It can be." He argued, because he knew his parents loved each other, and that was enough for them. He didn't know why, but they did.
"But, not always." She replied pointedly, looking between him and her. He knew where she was coming from.
They'd gotten closer, he didn't know how, but he could feel her leg brush against his under the water.
They both locked eyes for a moment, and Tony found himself gravitating closer. "It can be." He murmured yet again, his fingers brushing delicately against her bare side, his eyes flickering from her eyes to her lips.
"It can be." Natasha finally agreed, looking at him just as intensely as he stared at her.
(Or, the arranged marriage au nobody asked for)

"Morning, Tony." She replied, sitting down to pick at the oh so familiar pieces of bacon. Neither of them bothered to add 'good' to their greetings because they'd lived this day enough to know it was nowhere near good.
"Are you two okay?" Steve asked, tilting his head in confusion and concern.
"We're trapped in a time loop, Steve." Natasha answered honestly, yawning a bit.

“Today is a remarkable day in history!” Doom announced, lifting his arms to the sky. "For today, the rule of the Avengers ends! Today...the rule of Doom begins!"
Not a single person present, whether they were shaking uncontrollably in the crowd or raising their arms in victory as electric sparks rained down around them, really knew what quite to expect next. But what did happen next, nobody possibly could have anticipated.
Someone laughed.
It was just a little snicker, something that normally would've been lost in the din of the crowd, but it rang like a gunshot in the deafeningly quiet street.
Doom had to scan the crowd for several tense seconds before he finally located him. The grinning teenage boy, shaking with poorly repressed laughter.
When he noticed Doom staring at him, he only laughed harder.
“I--I'm sorry, Doom?” he managed to get out, between gasps for breath. “That's what you decided to call yourself? Doom?”
(Doctor Doom, in defeating the Avengers, finds himself facing a new, unlikely challenger.)
