Debra watched the light glint off his mask, she had never asked, never really wanted or cared to ask. Now though, with her inhibitions dulled, the urge to peel the cold metal from his face was strong.

Summary
When the war finally reaches the Malfoys’ doorstep, Lord Voldemort claims Lucius Malfoy’s life, forcing Narcissa Malfoy to abandon everything she has ever known and seek refuge in the ancestral home of the House of Black to protect her son, Draco Malfoy.
But under Sirius Black’s headship, Grimmauld Place is nothing like the home she remembers from her childhood.
Narcissa has spent her entire life in control. Control of herself, of her image, of every role she was born to play.
Remus Lupin, her cousin’s quiet, bookish friend, is dangerous in ways she does not fully understand. He is the last man she should allow near the first fracture in that control. This story exists in the same universe as my current main WIP “You Are My Brightest Start”, but focuses on the moments in between that were never meant to be seen. Or in other words, how Narcissa and Remus found themselves crossing a line that cannot be undone.
This romance is going to be much more darker and explicit than anything I’ve written before. I am adding some of the Explicit tags now just to set the tone of the story, but I will be adding more as we go.

Summary
It was Harry, more than any of her other friends, with whom she felt at home. Harry made her feel safe and strong, and though he’d never said it in so many words, she knew he felt the same. There was almost nothing she couldn’t tell him. Their friendship, so firmly rooted in honesty and trust, had always been intense.
But the intensity of those feelings made it difficult for her to keep her attraction to Harry carefully locked away in its mental box.
In moments like this, when she was sitting close enough to see the glint in his eyes as he told a joke and smell the lingering scent of cologne on his shirt, those feelings crept out of their tightly closed box and swam through her brain.
What would it be like to gently touch the stubble on his jaw? To kiss his wine stained lips? To be held in his strong arms?
Hermione could imagine nothing better. Well, almost nothing.

Hermione's long standing desire for her best friend finally finds its way out of the box

It started in the tent.
In silence. In exhaustion. In the fragile space left behind after Ron walked away.
Months later, Harry and Hermione are still trying to convince themselves it meant nothing.
Neither of them are very good liars. -

Summary
In hindsight, Ginny wasn't sure which event of her first year at Hogwarts had the biggest impact on her life. Was it her sorting? Or the chamber of secrets thing? Or was it Ron's reaction to these? In any case, what she was sure about was that she wouldn't change a thing. If she did, she might not have the wonderful man she had by her side today.
