“Fuck off.” You said it low under your breath, too many frustrations in the day building up. You’d been left to some Captain duties, but no one really listened to you much anymore. It was supremely frustrating, especially considering you needed them to listen to fulfill your duties.
You realized who you just told to fuck off as soon as Mack leaned into your space. “What was that?” Your eyes snapped to his in shock. His grin was slow as you didn’t answer, really unsure how to answer in the first place. “No answer?” He nodded. “Thought not. Follow me.”
You trailed silently after. This timeline always confused you. It was definitely not yours, but when you were here Mack took good care of you if you played your cards right. Trying to be a real Captain almost always led to your execution at the end, but you long since learned if you acted the subservient to him he liked to play. You knew you still had your mission, you still had to get home and fix everything, but this… this was a way to set aside those responsibilities. You had followed this path more than once now, likely more than you should if you were being honest with yourself.
