Summary
When Judge hears word of Sanji's quickly developing Germa genetic mutations, he disregards his promise to stay away from the Straw Hats and makes a move on his third son once again, this time with worse intentions than merely marrying him off. Refusing to sit down and accept this outcome, the entire Straw Hat crew will fight for their ship's cook, and a certain swordsman starts to realise that his feelings might run deeper than he once thought.
Meanwhile, in Germa, the remaining Vinsmoke siblings are facing the opposite issue. Unbeknownst to Judge, his emotionless soldier sons are starting to seem not quite as emotionless, and so an older sister sees an opportunity, and decides to take a chance.

Sanji is ill, and it's not going away. The doctors tell him he's not getting better anytime soon, but there's not a chance in Hell he's letting himself give up hope.Zoro has been struggling ever since the death of his childhood best friend. He's drinking too much and shutting out the people that care about him. He really just doesn't see the point in living anymore, now that his other half is gone.
Two unlikely souls who both wind up at the same group-therapy session. A meeting that may very well be life changing, for better or worse.

Summary
Sanji was able to escape as a child, and although he knew that he couldn't run forever - he had hoped that he would have had a little bit longer than this.
When Sanji's past catches up to him and leaves him hurt, scared and vulnerable, his real family make good on their promise to never abandon him, and maybe go a little bit further than that in terms of fighting back.
Zosan. Modern Au. The Vinsmokes are assholes but it's okay because Luffy plans to bite their asses - he's protective like that.

"MARIMO!" Sanji shrieked, his voice hitting an octave Zoro didn't know a human male could achieve. "I'm not here! You see nothing!" Sanji yelled, frantically shoving loose sheets of paper under a massive encyclopedia of food. "Go back to sleep, you mossy parasite! Drop dead! Blind yourself!"
"What the hell are you doing?!" Zoro yelled back, finally snapping out of his trance.
"Nothing! Cleaning! I'm cleaning the table with paper!"
"You're hiding papers under a book about seaweed, curly!"
"It's a delicate filing system!"One particularly crisp, ink-stained page drifted lazily through the candlelight, flipping over in the air before landing smack-dab on the countertop right in front of Zoro’s chest. Zoro looked down.
Printed in large, bold, beautifully typed letters at the top of the page was a title:

The very first time Sanji gets well and truly drunk while travelling with the crew is years into their journey, and somehow, it's Zoro's job to herd him home. He might be in love, and he also might have to kill him. And then feed him and rub his back.
...
Sanji stared at him for a second, recalibrating. He moved further away, staggering with his typical serious look. Squaring up.
Before Zoro could realize what was happening, the cook turned on a dime, and started tearing ass away from him in a dead sprint, still dangerously tilted to one side and threatening to plow face-first into the sand again.
"Why?!" he demanded of the empty-ass air where the cook had been, taking off after him with a curse.

Summary
Sanji didn't know if true gods existed. He never really cared much of the thought. He had far too many other problems to worry about. His wanted poster still said "only alive" on it, with a new massive bounty to boot. The shitty mosshead has decided to make it his personal mission to make him hate his existence even more than he already does. And now his shitty body has started acting up. First his Germa genes activated, causing his body to become hard as steel. Next, a shiny, golden coloring appeared on his finger tips. He had no idea what it meant or if it was dangerous, but he covered his hands up anyway. Lastly, the feeling that he was always being watched became a continuous problem in the back of his mind.
It was clear that something was wrong, and this whole thing seemed a whole lot bigger than anyone on the crew could have guessed.

Sanji is captured by the Vega Punks when they make it to Egghead, Judge coming to collect him soon after. There is something more to the experiments done on Sanji as a child. Something that he can't quite place until it was too late to go back.Bookmarked by Sjavma
