In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.The One Ring has been destroyed and Sauron banished to the Dark with his own Master, Morgoth. But not all the Rings were destroyed with it; the Three made by Celebrimbor to counter the One are free now and there are artefacts still in the ruined cities of both Mordor and Eregion. And the fate of those lesser Rings is not known...yet. Against this, Legolas and Elrohir struggle in their new found love and not all is smooth. By any means.
Part of the Sons of Thunder series but works as stand alone too. References to previous events explained through the text.

Summary
Some of the Herald's loyal followers take it upon themselves to punish a certain Tevinter mage for daring to corrupt their icon with his affections. In Skyhold, the Inquisitor's own fortress, the man he loves is attacked by the people he's sworn to protect. Worse, he's not there to stop it, or comfort his mage afterwards.
Many of the Inner Circle are, however, and they're on the warpath: hunting down those responsible while trying to undo the damage done. Some scars are more than skin deep, though, and there may be more to the story than any of them realize...

Summary
An Asunder-based AU in which Rhys and Cole fled to Tevinter rather than staying with Evangeline. Captured, they become property of Magister Halward Pavus, who is all too happy to have a mind-reading, human formed demon he can control and use to gain political influence within the Imperium. Dorian begins to question his father's tactics and motives, as well as the true nature of the 'demon' Halward has enslaved.
Risking the strained relationship with his father, Dorian begins to realize that Halward's rise to power comes at too steep a price and forsakes his birthright.
Now free from Tevinter, Dorian and Cole struggle to find their place in a chaotic south poised on the brink of war, and navigate the pitfalls of a relationship that is new for both of them. Luckily, they wont have to do it alone.Bookmarked by Singthemuse
