Summary
Seren is a coward. Too afraid to move on, too afraid to allow herself to feel. That is until a surprise meeting with her old headmaster turns her life on its head.
Introduced to a mysterious and ill-tempered mentor, she must stretch herself to the limits of what she thought herself capable of to discover who she really is; and what she really wants.
This is a story of how two broken people can help each other to feel whole again.
This fic is set from the summer after Order of the Phoenix through to the battle of Hogwarts. Where possible, I’ve tried to keep it in line with the events of the books rather than the films, although there may be some divergence to that!

Summary
Maggie had not thought much about the Harry Potter franchise in over five years. She saw no reason to dwell on it when she had much more important issues, like getting into law school and taking care of her little brother. The contents of a children's series from a decade ago written by an author who would've been better served staying off the internet would hardly serve her outside of a game of Jeopardy.
A magical couple in another universe feels differently. They have no problem with flipping her life inside out to prove her wrong.
Follow Maggie, now Meg, as she tries to navigate a world she thought she had left behind, juggle the burden of a new bloodline, and protect the kids she has all but adopted as her own.
