    Summary

The guy holds a finger up at Yuuta and it’s gently menacing, the way he waves it in Yuuta’s face, the way his eyes say stay still without him having to say anything at all. When he seems certain Yuuta isn’t going to move, he redirects his attention to his phone and types furiously. Yuuta vaguely notices his thin gold rings, the fact that a few of the guy’s nails are painted black, scraped up like he uses his hands a lot and hadn’t bothered to repaint them.

Then the guy shoves his phone in Yuuta’s face.

Yuuta goes a little cross-eyed trying to see it. He puts his hand on the guy’s wrist to steady the phone and pull it away from his face so he can actually see whatever he is being shown. Yuuta realizes, once his fingers connect around the guy's slim wrist, overlapping a little, that touching him like this is pretty forward of Yuuta– but also this dude is shoving a phone in his face, so maybe it’s fine.

The phone is open to the notes app and says:

i’m mute. i literally can’t talk pretty much at all. stop running away from me, asshole. why are you so freaky fast?

    “Uh.” Yuuta says.

    Summary

Sokka is immortal; it's been tested, he knows that he can't die. He's immortal, but he's not quite a god like his sister, Katara. He's immortal, but he's not quite powerful like his friends Aang and Toph.

He's just sort of Sokka: good at fixing things, good at playing pranks, good at helping people.

When a bet against Toph goes horribly wrong, and an attempt to save him goes even worse Sokka finds himself the unwilling guest of the Lord of the Underworld. And, strangely enough, every story Sokka's heard about Lord Zuko seems to be ... completely wrong.

(Also, he's really handsome. Why does he have to be handsome?)

    Summary

Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.

    It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.

Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'

The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.

It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.

This is like powdered sugar sweet, such fluff and interesting conversations

    Some highlights of mine:

Clark Is Not Going To Start Crying In Public Because That Would Give People The Wrong Idea.

    -

In the hallway upstairs, Bruce takes his hand, oh, and pulls him toward the back door.

    -

Bruce is Absolutely Fucking Lost in social cues. He has no goddamn clue what is going on right now. Or rather, he thinks he knows exactly what is going on but jumping to conclusions could lead to catastrophic results. So he's stalling with anxiety.

But then, on the other hand… he trusts Clark. He trusts Clark more than anyone. He trusts Clark to communicate honestly.

    So he takes a dive.

    "What are you doing."

Clark hesitantly meets his eyes. There's something almost scared in his expression. "Something…. Romantic?"

(Something romantic, you were right, let's shut down the brain in celebration!)

    Summary

“Wait, what? You’ve been texting some rando for three—no, four—days?”

Clark stuffed an onion ring he stole from her plate into his mouth to avoid responding. Talking to Lois about this felt like opening Pandora’s box.

Her shock morphed into intrigue, her eyes narrowing like a predator locking onto its prey. “Four days of texting, and you didn’t mention it until now? This is officially the longest your love life has lasted. Spill.”

Or, Clark accidentally texts the wrong number and strikes a rather unusual friendship
