Summary
"This … this is us. Broken, waiting to be mended."
This broken ceramic that sat in front of them. There were brushes, bottles of lacquer, packets of dust in various colors and mixing bowls. Red, gold, platinum, even a sort of iridescent silver picked out specifically to match Rumi's patterns.
"We glue the pieces back together, make it whole. But this preserves the cracks, the scars. We remember the history and make something new, but still beautiful."
Or, Mira brings home an art project heavy with symbolism.

Summary
Mira turned out to be a loot goblin, preferring to drop with less players and spend her time collecting weapons. It was cute, honestly. Zoey enjoyed watching them figure out which weapons they liked the most.
It was almost as cute as the heart eyes Mira made the first time Rumi started up a two-person dance she'd bought (because Rumi bought everything and anything) and Mira joined it. The smile slowly growing on her face as Stupid in Love played and the digital Rumi and Mira danced together and made a heart together made Zoey grin in response.
Or, Zoey gets the girls playing Fornite, Mira gets soft over a silly dance, and Zoey and Rumi decide to do something about it as a surprise.

Zoey opened her mouth and closed it, "And how do you know she has fangs?"
Mira then pulled down the collar of her shirt, revealing a bite mark on the left side of neck, near where it met the shoulder, "Cuz she bit me."
"Not fair! I want Rumi to bite me!"
Or, Zoey has been observing Rumi's habits ever since the Idol Awards. Column A are traits she has assigned to "Rumi" and column B are "Demon" traits. She's not so sure that the lines don't blend.

Summary
With the Idol Awards coming up and the Saja Boys stealing the fans, there were more demon incursions in the past two weeks than they'd fought in the previous two years.
Zoey had once shown her a comic book where the premise was a bad guy releasing all of the other bad guys. The hero became worn down capturing them all, leaving him vulnerable when the mastermind stepped in to finish the job.
Tonight, Mira wondered how close they were to having their own backs broken and if that was Gwi-Ma's plan.
Or, Mira gets defenestrated.

Zoey's buns had fallen apart, she was wearing Mira's glasses askew and one of Rumi's night shirts hung loosely on her frame.
Zoey glanced behind her, then back at Celine, "This isn't what it looks like!"
Rumi covered her face with both of her hands as Mira said, "Twister got out of hand."

“Listen. I know your thing is complicated. Like, more complicated than I can properly appreciate. But I don’t do like, casual hookups that don’t mean anything. I can take things slow, but I’m not going anywhere. I like you, y’know it?”

There was the sound of the door shutting. A few footsteps.
“She’s not here?” the voice asked.
Zoey dropped her voice lower, almost conspiratorial. “No. She went out—probably won’t be back for, like… fifteen, twenty minutes.”
A beat of silence. Then a quiet chuckle. “Good. Then I can steal you for a while.”
There was a nervous little hiccup of laughter from Zoey. “Wait—don’t get too close, I’m still live—”
“I’ll stay out of frame,” the voice promised, tone coaxing.
The sound of a hand brushing fabric, then a soft shuffle—the mic catching the rustle as Zoey was pulled slightly sideways. A faint smack of lips meeting. Quick. Too quick to be mistaken.
Chat slowed to a crawl.

"Fatigue, drowsiness, fainting, and remember last night she smelled tacos while you were cooking rice?! She started crying because she wanted tacos! Which reminds me, mood swings. That's it, our fingers got our girlfriend pregnant!"
