Sabine is all too pleased when she notices the patterns of Adrien's visits, and somehow always needs to help Tom in the kitchens whenever he stops by. That leaves Marinette to watch the front counter, and really, he's such a sweet boy, letting the two of them talk and hang out for a little while wouldn't hurt. After all, all good friends need a little one-on-one bonding time.

So the fact that it may be their only option isn't a comfort. With their partner by their side though, they're ready to face whatever the world throws at them.

His head is pounding, possibly from a concussion, and he has just enough time to look into Ladybug’s scared blue eyes before the flash of light overtakes them both. Then, suddenly, he’s looking at Marinette Dupain-Cheng and the journalists around them are screaming. Their names, including Adrien’s real one, are so loud that it’s disorienting.

Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!
