The accompanying picture was of the rude elevator-man. The murder happened the same day Lan Zhan had been there, maybe while he was in the building.
It was over a year later that Lan Zhan learned Wei Ying’s true purpose in the building that day and that he had deliberately detoured from his mission of murdering—assassinating—a corrupt accountant who had been laundering millions of tax payer dollars and funneling them into the offshore accounts of a major crime and drug syndicate.
