Summary
For the first time since meeting, Hongjoong isn’t flustered and instead demands, “what’s your proposition?”
The stranger is momentarily taken aback by the prince’s straightforward question, but his lips quirk up into a smile when he says, “I need a captain.”

Prince Hongjoong has been preparing for his potential inauguration as the preferred heir of the Kim Kingdom. Except Hongjoong doesn’t want to be king: he yearns for something new and exciting.
So when an opportunity arises to find the Pirate King’s lost treasure, brought to him by the mysterious and beautiful First Mate Park Seonghwa, Hongjoong finds himself aboard the ship Golden Hour as its Captain.
On a week’s timeline before he has to return to his kingdom, Hongjoong discovers the truth about the identity of the Pirate King and that it may be more than a simple wish for adventure that brought Seonghwa to him.

Seonghwa decides to speak up. He says carefully, “Captain—”
Hongjoong moans salaciously and both Ludley and Brass’ bewilderment intensifies.
From his peripherals, Seonghwa sees the rest of the crew of Illusion turning around to hide their laughter into their drinks. Jongho does give Seonghwa a pointed look, a silent plea for the first mate to put an end to this negotiation.

When Hongjoong consumes alcohol, the captain becomes sexy... And silly.
... And sincerely (in love).

“Seonghwa,” his father, Sungyong, booms on the other end. “This nonsense stops now. We have a big, big, BIG plan for this shipment. If I hear from Hongjoong that you sent San, I’ll have you married off to the Yu family and shipped to Australia… In a cardboard box!”
Seonghwa protests brattily, “you can’t, I’m already married!”
“Then act like it!” Sungyong barks, “you’re bringing the shipment over!” And the line goes dead with a click.
