Mikey hadn’t actually done anything that day that he believed he needed forgiving for, it was more a hypothetical question, but Takemichi answered immediately. His quick answer made sense, given that he’d forgiven Mikey for the three, still pinkish scars on his chest, for uprooting his entire life, for taking him from the girl that he’d thrown himself back in time again and again.
“Why?” It baffled Mikey how easily Takemichi gave his absolution.
Takemichi looked up at him from the flour he was weighing for bread he’d bake the next day. “Because I can. And you deserve it.”
Takemichi survives the shots from the bowling alley and goes to live with Mikey in the Bonten timeline

It's been twenty-one years since Enjin had been given that watch by that man who had changed the direction of his life without even thinking about it. Twenty-one years of not having seen him again, nor the small child he had in his arms, safe under his coat in the rain. Twenty-one years of searching with nothing to show for it but having made his own life, his own family, and his own connections, while the ones he's wanted there the most are mysteriously nowhere to be found.
Enjin's luck is something else, because somehow it just makes sense that he would meet one of them after more than two decades later, the one who looked at him with those bright red eyes in that man's arms all those years ago, in one of the most unexpected and worst places one could think of.
The strip club, with Enjin as a customer. and the other as a dancer who works there.

Summary
Whatever Regto had dreaded when he repeated over and over that he should not take blood nor give his blood, Rudo decided was fucking stupid. That was not a lesson he was willing to take to his grave. He was fine with heresy, with using someone else’s blood, with becoming a cannibal, if it meant that he lived and Regto got avenged in the future. If he only drank it, then he wouldn’t kill anyone. Even as a cannibal he was going to be better than his bastard of a birth father. He’d become the devil if need be.
