Carol leaned against him, holding onto his arms as if he was the only thing holding her up, the only thing stopping her from collapsing to the ground in a heap. Daryl thought that he probably was the only thing still keeping her upright, her feet on the ground; he didn’t mind, he would stand there and hold her up all day and all night if he had to.
