He leaned forward, pressing his lips to Halsin’s jaw. “I’ve been known to steal a man's ability to walk from time to time.”
“Have mercy on me, then,” Halsin replied, his voice rumbling in his chest. “I shall carry you out of here if I have to.”

Summary
Astarion doesn’t agree with Tav’s assertion that he’s not camp’s biggest horndog- not when he’s knows Halsin. They decide to make a bet- or rather an agreement. Neither of them get to come for fifteen days, and the first one to break loses.
Astarion doesn’t think it to be a challenge- but Halsin proves to be quite the formidable foe.

Summary
The bite was just a nip, a careful insertion of fangs that Halsin was used to. The quick, cold pain was no stranger, and as Astarion was careful, it was nothing significant. Honestly, had received worse bites from Scratch on accident than this. He felt Astarion shiver as his Heart slightly removed his fangs to start lapping at the welling blood. It was an odd thing, feeling one’s blood leave their body, but to Halsin, it brought him comfort in moments like this.
By the stars, how Halsin enjoyed this. This exchanged warmth, and not just in the physical sense. In this room, it was just them, only them.

“I am not upset.” Mark said in a tone that made it pretty obvious to Doug that he was.
“You are avoiding the question.” Doug said as he watched Mark stand up, “And now me too, apparently.”
Doug and Mark have been spending time together and Doug is oblivious to his own actions, until he isn't.

“Offended me?” Astarion laughs airily. “Darling, it takes more than a few flaccid jabs at my moral compass to penetrate my guard, I promise you that.”

“I'm so sorry to cause all this trouble,” Halsin said, handing him the empty mug.
“Will you stop apologizing already? Yes, you are sick, and I am not, for whatever unfathomable reason.” Astarion still couldn't quite grasp the fact that of all people, he was now the camp's caretaker. “Everyone else has accepted their fate and is resting. You should do the same.”
A mysterious sickness is spreading in Baldur's Gate. Though not deadly, it does not react to any of the usual healing spells and potions. Soon it becomes apparent that the whole party is infected, too - except for Astarion, who takes on the role of camp's caretaker (albeit clumsily). A few days later, everyone slowly gets better. Halsin... doesn't.

The stars twinkle like thousands of tiny gems against the dark velvet sky, and the stream reflecting the night as it gently trickles down the glen. As they approach the bank, the soft glow of candlelight catches Astarion's eye. Turning, Astarion sees the washtub Halsin had taken earlier, with three lanterns carefully placed around the tub. The steam rises from the magically heated water, carrying the same herbal scent from before.
