Ages before the Great Battle, the CLans' truly greatest battle yet is unfolding. RiverClan has turned against all the others, and ThunderClan is on the brink of extinction. ShadowClan fights its own war with an unseen enemy, while WindClan is slowly but surely being torn to pieces from the inside out. In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, an unwelcome kitten is born. Canon-divergent, I suppose, after The Last Hope. I haven't read the new series and I don't plan to.

OR: Ilya's teammates go with him to visit Hollander at the hospital and a high-on-painkillers Shane can't keep his mouth shut. Ilya learns that when it comes down to it, ice is thicker than blood.
