Billy wins and he feels almost bad for killing Sidney. He doesn't know why he does, but he misses her. He'd never loved her when they were together, but then again... Even if she hated his favorite movies and had an evil mom and wouldn't have sex with him, she still let him watch that shit near him, let him be him. She was just protecting herself from hating all she had left of a parent. (And shouldn't he know how that feels?)
And of course she was right not to have sex with a psychopath.
