    After her husband takes a second wife Aemma Arryn spends most of her time in the Vale amongst the mountains and her kin. Estranged from her only child Aemma has spent the past decade healing from her deep wounds. In the capital for the nameday tournament for her grandchild Lucerys Aemma and her niece Rhea keep to themselves and their fellow Valemen.
