For as long as you could remember, life was not meant to go your way. And you came to accept that, as a loyal scholar of spantamad you were bound to graduate, obtain your degree, work until you couldn’t no more, finally retiring to Mondstat, to let the promised wind of freedom embrace you. You jinxed yourself.
Due to unfortunate circumstances you had been blackmailed by your old peers to work with them in their rogue mercenary brigade. During your three years working with them you had indulged in the forbidden arts, deceptive trades and more. The worst part is? You liked it.
But your actions caught up to you. Inevitably, when the sages discovered this you were expelled without further notice. However you were given a choice by the grand sage. Work under II Dottore as his assistant and gather data that you’d give up to the sages with the promise of being able to graduate if you succeed or be banished from sumeru for eternity.
So you choose the obvious. Who knows? Maybe feelings will fester between you and the Doctor if you play your cards right.
