For the record, Lucifer was just on earth there to collect one of his demons. Said demon was not supposed to commit arson, piss off two archangels, drag a human acquaintance into celestial drama, and then disappear off the face of the earth (and the face of heaven, and of hell) leaving Lucifer with the mess.
The poorly worded deal with the archangel Gabriel, though, that was Lucifer's fault entirely.

This is a rather large and complicated project I've been working on. To keep myself motivated, I'm uploading drafts and worldbuilding stuff to here. Please note that everything here is in some way incomplete and there will likely be inconsistencies between different works. Just because it is here does not mean it will be canon to the finished story. I will make an announcement here when I upload the final project.
