Barty hums, nose brushing against Evan’s. Despite his words, his hand found its way to the back of Barty’s neck, keeping him close.

Evan moves back from France to England after over a decade with very little expectations. He’s never really had any friends and he’s used to people stepping out of his life—why would this time be any different? He’s ready to spend his remaining years at high school alone.
