Shortly after the release of Cracker Island, the band's good times are derailed by a medical mystery. Murdoc has an existential crisis, Noodle takes it upon herself to save her sort-of parental figure, Russel tries to keep the peace...and 2D realizes it's time to adult.

This was so cute and the perfect balance of pacing, fluff, angst, and even my asexual ass has to compliment how well the smut was sprinkled in every now and then. (Also I loved the interludes of the different accounts online and the continuity 😭)

"I don't want to kill you," 2-D sighs. Under his hair, which hangs heavy and has grown so much that he has to blow it out of his mouth, his eyes look dull in the darkness. That white sheen they've taken on, sometime since they came out here, it's unnerving. It isn't right, either. "I don't even want to hurt you. Alright? I just wanna go home."
