Nandor strides up and Guillermo takes a few more steps back. “Master, master, no, master, please-“
Nandor lifts the baby out of Guillermo’s arms and holds her up in front of his face so he’s looking up at her. Guillermo freezes. Nadja, Laszlo, and Colin Robinson stare. The baby stops crying.
“Hello, baby,” Nandor says. He looks down at Guillermo. “What is her designation?”
“Um.” Guillermo looks afraid to move. “I’ve been calling her Luna.”
Nandor smiles. “Hello, Luuuuuuuuuna.” He bounces her a little and she giggles. “Yes. It is a good name. The sort of name all will learn to tremble in fear at. Her armies will be mighty, won’t they? Yes, they will be very mighty.” Nandor walks off, still holding Luna aloft and singing to her softly in Persian.

“2001,” Wei Wuxian says, and then cracks up when Jiang Cheng’s eyes widen in alarm. “Calm down, I’m just kidding. I know it’s 2014.”
Jiang Cheng stares at him.
Wei Wuxian is quiet for a beat. “I presume from your reaction that it is not actually 2014.”
“No,” Jiang Cheng says softly. “No, it’s not.”

Wei Wuxian chuckles and starts pushing Lan Wangji's outer robes off his shoulders. "Poor Lan Zhan, subject to such earthly miseries. You must be exhausted, come to bed, come to bed."
"Mm," Lan Wangji says. He raises his arms so that Wei Wuxian can keep undressing him. His clothes will end up on the floor, but no matter. Wei Wuxian's deft hands at his belts are worth wrinkled robes.
"... Goodness, Hanguang-Jun, you wear too many damned layers," Wei Wuxian tells him after a while. "Would it kill you to stop after a reasonable five?"
