Transported in a world where this Batman has a nondescript kill count, his signature catchphrases are: “I’m the Goddamn Batman” and “Shut up.”, on “shaky” terms with Alfred, Jason Todd-Wayne has yet to be adopted. Dick is Robin again, 12 years old, and covered in yellow paint and is about to deliver a lethal strike to- is that Hal Jordan?

“He was pinned, like the others,” she continued. “No signs of extensive torture, final wound meant to kill relatively quickly.”
They were talking like this wasn't news. There was a pattern, a goddamn modus operandi for that motherfucker.

Summary
Nightwing is confronted by a Talon, but not the Nightwing you may expect.

The air shifted, and Nightwing dodged right as his attacker struck left.
The weapons -claws, Edward Scissorhands looking motherfucker- grazed his ribs, painful in pressure but unable to slice the material. His assailant -a Talon, this had to be a Talon- wasn't quite as durable, it seemed.
Everyone told him the blades were overkill. Screw you, Barbara, they were saving his fucking life.
With the standard Gotham thug, the appearance of two wicked sharp swords would be enough to make them back off. Mr. ‘the Court of Owls has sentenced you to die’ was unphased, twisting as Nightwing slashed, reducing the damage to a bad slice instead of the intended deep tissue wound.
His leg automatically dropped back, blades up and ready to block wherever his opponent struck next.
