Summary
The world is overrun with "freaks"--people who are unnaturally fast, violent, and attack on sight. All Might does not know how this transformation happened seemingly overnight, but as the world's greatest hero, it is his duty to protect survivors. Especially Midoriya Izuku, who was raised by All Might after his mother committed suicide from being afflicted by "freak syndrome" when he was a baby. Having only known a world of dangerous freaks and survival on the fringes of what remains, young Midoriya is quickly growing bolder and pushing against the boundaries All Might has set to keep them all alive.

Basically just a reimagined version of the sludge villain incident/Midoriya meeting All Might, where things go a little differently but ultimately arrive at the same conclusion.

Summary
It’s been a month since Chase last entered a book. A month since the spell page last lit up.
Nox doesn’t know what happened, only that Chase vanished without warning. When the story finally calls him again, Nox finds a very different Chase on the other side. Grief-stricken, guilt-ridden, and trying far too hard to pretend he’s okay.
There’s no magic fix for this: no story twist or clever wish to bring her back. But maybe, if they hold on to each other, they can still find a way forward.
Or: What would happen if Myra died before Chase could make his wish.
