Summary
The world felt like too much for Max after an awful run in with some Russians, a battle full of loss, loss of the person who she hated yet can't help miss. How even after he was gone he seemed to haunt her life, destroying all her relationships, except for the one she had with Mike Wheeler. It only lasted because of the awful run in with Russians and because he was stubborn and maybe because he understood better then she thought.
The world felt like too much for Mike after an awful run in with some Russians, a battle full of loss and the love of his life moving across the country before he got the chance to tell him how he felt. Him being gone made everything so much harder, like holding conversations without screaming at the other person at least once or finding joy in things. Now the only person he didn't feel completely terrible around was Max Mayfield, a girl he'd once hated, then tolerated and now had come to be one of the most important people in his life.
