Summary
A human ends up in Hallow nest right around the time that The Knight, aka Little Ghost, shows up.
The Bugs are large, the kingdom dead, and there is a not-quite-but-almost Zombie problem going on.
Can the lone human survive? Yes, will it be easy? Oh absolutely not, they will wish they were dead multiple times over, but they will keep going despite their grievances, they don't want to become a mind-zombie-thing. -

And certainly not because they had an alarming tendency to attract Dark Lords. At this point, that was practically extracurricular.
No.
It was because they were clearly, catastrophically in love with each other and somehow still too stupid to notice.
Enter Hedwig, a deeply traumatised Crookshanks, several failed matchmaking attempts, strategic mistletoe placement, emotional root canals, Draco Malfoy accidentally becoming useful, Severus Snape regretting his entire existence, Trevor the toad committing acts of terrorism and Mrs. Norris being alarmingly down bad.
