Feng Xin shudders, "Well, she's not nice to me! At all!"
Xie Lian looks at Feng Xin like she's a bumbling puppy who's also inhaled a ton of sawdust; sweet, but also incredibly stupid. "Feng Xin, she's not nice to anyone."

Summary
Even if they don’t express themselves in labels, it’s no surprise that the answer to Xie Lian’s significant other is always Hua Cheng, and she, Hua Cheng’s. Mu Qing should be grateful to be a footnote. Or even an endnote - so she doesn’t disturb the harmony of the chapter.

Summary
In all his centuries, Mu Qing witnessed men laying with women in all different sorts of ways. He saw snippets of dreams he would rather not; he heard prayers drunkards sent to him instead of General Ju Yang (clearly out of inebriated confusion and stupidity); and he opened books he wished he hadn’t containing porn worthy of General Ming Guang’s library.
But never had he seen or even thought what cut-sleeve sex would look like.
Sound like.
Smell like.
One instant of walking into Puqi Shrine at the wrong moment and Mu Qing now possessed way more information than he ever had before — and he hated it.

Mu Qing's crush on Feng Xin spirals out of control when his thoughts begin to take a very dirty turn. What should be just a matter of inconvenience and embarrassment grows serious when his carefully crafted ascetic cultivation begins to unravel with dangerous results.

"I don't think less of you," Feng Xin had told him.
How was it so difficult to accept? It made little sense to Mu Qing. He was always looked down on, thought lesser of. Why would anything be different with Feng Xin? If anything, he had even more reason than most other people after knowing him for so many centuries. Seeing him at his worst moments. Yet...and yet. That man was still always there. He didn't understand him at all. Or maybe Feng Xin really was just stupid.
That was unfair, he knew.

The Heavenly Capital is still being rebuilt, and Mu Qing and Feng Xin are putting in effort into getting along better, even if it's easier said than done. Maybe going on a mission together will help.
