Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley are finally in a relationship, and absurdly happy. The moment they lower their guard, though, some unexpected enemies take advantage of it with an annoyingly good timing. Forced to play defence to protect themselves and their love, the angel and the demon will also have to learn how to deal with their own insecurities and how to accept each other's small imperfections.
This will be a tale of pain and revenge, but also of love, strenght and growth.
And I mean what I said in the tags. There will be angst. Hem... sorry?

Summary
Crowley needs to learn how to cope better. The sleeping for years at a time thing is simply just not going to do. When Nina and Maggie seem to assert themselves into his life in the same manner he had with theirs, he finds that he quite enjoys having them around. If being sad means you get to eat sweets and watch movies all day long with friends, he could definitely get used to being sad.
Then the nightingale appears.
Aziraphale also does not know how to cope. He's caught up in the whirlwind of feelings for Crowley as well as trying to figure out what is going on in Heaven. Something is deeply wrong - and he is going to find out. When his request to visit Earth is denied, it starts to dawn on him that his position of Supreme Archangel doesn't hold as much power as he initial thought.
He needs to get out of Heaven. Soon.
And preferably before the "Second Coming" arrives.

This is a self-indulgent fix-it fic that has nothing to do with How to Kill Mockingbird, just liked how the title sounded :)
