Summary
In the majority of religions there is something after death, whether it be reincarnation or a place for souls to go. Heaven, Hell (Christianity), the Underworld(Hellenism and Kemetism), Firdaus (Islam), Samsara (Buddhism), are all places souls go after death. My parents were Roman Catholic and raised me that way, but in my late teens I began practicing Witchcraft and was introduced to Neopaganism. I didn’t know for sure if there was an afterlife but I hoped there was one.

Summary
The Vatican is know for keeping secrets from the public, these tend to include supernatural creatures sealed away and mystical objects with power that cannot be explained by science. One of its oldest and best kept secret is an old treaty made before the Vatican was created. To stop Sammael, The hound of Resurrection, the Roman Catholic Church worked with Stella Dame, one of the oldest vampires left on earth. Together they sealed Sammael away and Stella was forced to sleep until she was needed again. When Grigori Rasputin released the hound, Stella is called into action. Working with the B.P.R.D. is Stella's only choice if she wishes to keep the apocalypse at bay.

His shoes sank into the dewy grass every time he took a step, and then suddenly they didn’t anymore — stone beneath his feet. He was nearly at the Great Hall. He was breathing heavily, and it took every ounce of control to keep his magic from lashing out.
His mind kept skipping from one sound to the next — crickets on the tree he was passing, wind whipping over the hills, snakes gliding through the long grass. It was all so loud. But nothing was as loud as his heel hitting the stone, and his toes lifting from it again. The latter was heavier.
