Summary
Of course he missed Reigen. His Reigen. This one was still wonderful, made up of all the things he fell in love with in the first place, years ago, but it hurt to hear him ask where they keep the instant ramen when it was Reigen who insisted they keep a stash of it in the first place for when they’re too lazy to cook, or for him to compliment the sweater Mob wore the day before when he was the one who bought it for him last Christmas, or for him to point out that the light in the kitchen flickered when it was him who had ducked under the table on Mob’s birthday and blown him until Mob had blown the circuitry.
He missed Reigen’s subtle touches when the others weren’t looking, the private smiles he’d saved up just for him, the odd times he’d use his real given name, how he sounded beneath him in bed. But it was selfish to miss these things, and Mob knew it.

Summary
Everyone had their breaking point. Even a Chrysos Heir.
Maybe you couldn't shoulder the weight of the world for him, but you could be there for him.
You could take his pain and doubts away and mend the cracks in his heart.
Even if just for a moment.

The knocker is such a nuisance. Out of sight, out of mind, right? He doesn't take very kindly to you ignoring him, though.
