Summary
What was supposed to be an easy mission turns into a disaster when Kilik, Harver, and Ox are spelled to be "in love" with Maka. Soul is less than pleased - even less so after learning that the spell can only be broken by a kiss from Maka. Totally not worth all the trouble...

Summary
After a mission goes astray and Maka gets injured, her "dignity" is called into question, causing Soul to fall into a self-inflicted mental spiral. Rationally, he knows he's done nothing wrong patching Maka up after she's been wounded, but a passing threat made by Harvar is enough to tip him over the edge. Suddenly, all the little "things" he's been purposefully ignoring over the years are at the forefront of his mind, and he isn't entirely sure he wants to be a Death Scythe if that means Maka's no longer his meister. But, co-dependency issues be damned because it's, unfortunately, a little too late to back out now, and he no longer has his brother's shadow providing him the perfect cover to run away.

It's a self insert fic. You know the drill.
Featuring a grumpy protagonist who wants mochi, clean socks, and to maintain possession of their life and eyeballs in that order, a troll-dad sensei who's genuinely trying to understand the pint sized weirdos he's been saddled with but isn't sure where to start, and two team mates who are honest to god twelve year olds who canonically didn't mature until after the handy dandy time skip.

This is a self-insert story set in the age of Minato Namikaze and others. How much can she change or fix?
Yuuki is ignoring the fact she never finished reading the Manga and read so much fanfiction it's blurred the line a little bit.
