He describes it as casually as he can manage, disguising his own nervous laughter with pauses to say stuff like “Stupid, right?” and “You wouldn’t believe what happens next.”
There’s a bunch of it he embellishes as well, just to make sense of something he knows is completely nonlinear. The glass skateboards, the rest of the crew as his step-family, the snow path which had somehow become a rose path, and then a thorn path and wall that surrounded the tower from which Prince Langa languished as the Demon Emperor’s Empress.

“Yeah. Not sure how ADAM was feeding you, though. No way they could’ve gotten any deliveries up there for how hard it was, just finding the entrance.”

Reki's head knocked back roughly against Langa's headboard. His breathing stuttered as the mouth pressing sweet kisses along his throat made a questioning noise against his skin. The hand on his jaw slid up through his hair to cup the back of his head and cushion it from the hard wood.

The quiet voice just below his ear had Reki shivering. His hands fisted tighter into Langa's shirt, trying desperately to get ahold of himself. They'd hardly started. How was he going to survive whatever Langa had planned if just some necking brought him this close to insanity?
