Xie Lian lowers the nape of his robes, exposing his pretty, pale neck.The village of Puqi has a problem: Vampires! Or so they think. Xie Lian isn't convinced, and decides to play detective to find out the truth. He assumes it's something more ordinary. Yet when he crosses paths with a mysterious, sweet-smelling stranger, he has no idea what he might be in for. Could the rumors be true?
Or, Xie Lian is convinced San Lang is a vampire....and he's going to prove it! Thing is, he's really bad at this. Why did said stranger have to be so beautiful and charming?

Lan Qiren grimaced at the mention of him. He knew Lan Wangji would never get rid of that brat, so that comment was obviously directed at him. So, Wei Wuxian was perceptive after all.
"Mn. Would never get rid of you." Lan Wangji was positively glowing. Lan Qiren was sure Wei Wuxian was good for Lan Wangji, and regardless of his past mistakes, as long as he accepted the consequences, maybe the future will be kinder to both of them."

He felt cloth drape over him. It smelled like ash and blood but also like Wei Ying. Those attractive, normally lively eyes were glassy and Lan Wangji saw something glistening roll down Wei Wuxian’s cheek.
His already overworked heart skipped a beat. Then, the arms around him shifted to hook under his back and knees and there was a weightlessness as he left the ground. All the while, the spiritual energy never stopped flowing, keeping the cold at bay.

He never thought there’d come a day when he didn’t have to tough it out, when someone would offer him another option.

But there’s so much hope and determination in his gaze that make it hard to misinterpret his words, and Mu Qing knows, deep inside of his own heart, that Feng Xin wouldn’t joke about such a thing. If he says he wants to kiss Mu Qing, then… he means it.
Mu Qing is too drunk to deal with all of this.
Mu Qing decides that being drunk is better than being painfully in love with Feng Xin.
