Aka: Eddie and Volt love route and realization with a little (yandere) twist (is it a twist if Volt is very much a yandere for Eddie-). Eddie and Volt are in a relationship. Mostly canon-compliant, with a few speculations and events to fill some gaps (it’s a crime that there’s basically nothing after you romance them). Some lines are reused from different endings/choices bc why not. Reader is a bit mentally drained. After looking through dozens of listings for a new house, you discover an ad for an interesting house. The price was fairly low for the size of the property, and it was to be sold fully furnished. You message the homeowner to meet up with them to see the house for yourself. Once you meet up with them and they give you a nervous, and very hastily, tour of the house, you decide to buy it. What a steal! Not noticing the small little details of a house that was severely neglected, and the homeowner being very relieved to get rid of it.
Once you move in, you finally notice the state that it’s in, and realize you have a lot of work to do. Your new home needs a little bit of Tender Love and Care. But what happens when you find a pair of glasses and discover that your house needs TLC in more ways than one?

Helping Volt and Eddie with the reset is the most useful you’ve felt since you’ve gotten the dateviators. It’s a hard feeling to come by—usefulness—when you’re stuck at home with no job but the company of many, many objects whom you’ve come to liken as friends, or even as lovers in Volt and Eddie’s case.
There was a certain rush that came with finding out more about the two of them, becoming part of their lives and their routine, doing maintenance, saving them with the reset. Every fix boosts your self-confidence. It helps you feel like you’re needed rather than just…inserting yourself into other people’s (other object’s) problems.
It’s a concern that eats away at you. Your nerves are frayed, like Eddie’s wire was. You know you should talk to him, and to Volt too. You know they’d want to help you, the same way you helped them, but… they already do so much for you: running the electricity, treating you like a VIP member at their club, loving you.
How could you possibly ask for more?
