It was finals week and you were tired. Oh, so tired. You’d agreed to help Mammon study for your last big exam together and what was supposed to be a quick study session had turned into a multi hour long marathon of studying. Mammon finally collapses face down on your bed with a deep groan. You laugh, gently sitting on the bed next to him and rubbing your hand across his shoulders.
“Jesus Monnie, your shoulders are so tight it seems painful. Want me to rub them for you?”

He’ll take a leap and introduce his family to the guy he’s been seeing, as normal people do. Except the guy bails. The day before. Because apparently that’s “too much commitment”, whatever that means.
Now backed into a corner, Flambae needs a last-minute stand-in. Someone calm. Normal and unassuming. Someone who isn’t a walking red flag. Which is how he ends up roping the newly minted, normie dispatcher into being his pretend boyfriend for the evening— because admitting he got dumped doesn’t exactly scream I’ve got my life together.
