"Ok yeah but like how old are you really?"
It took Midoriya a minute to actually understand what Kaminari was asking. This guy thought he was like, 100 years old. Of course once he made the connection he doubled over in laughter.
Various students around the room regarded them with curious eyes as kaminari fidgeted waiting for an answer. Izuku’s laughing quickly turned into a coughing fit before he finally composed himself enough to answer.
"I'm not immortal!"

Izuku lived most of his life quirkless before discovering in an accident that he cannot permanently die from outside harm. He still ages and is not immortal but has a quirk that will revive him from death caused by an external force. For example, being hit by a car.

Summary
Heights have always looked like a picture to me. It's not like I don't have a concept of depth. It's more like, after a certain point it just all starts to blend together like it does in photos. I think that the street below me would make a great photo with all the people and colorful cars buzzing by.
The world around me swirls turned on its head while I turn it over. Then I look down once more and I genuinely consider it. It wouldn't take much. Just leaning forward a bit further and I wouldn't have to worry about any of it. No letter from Yuuei, no bullies at school, no home that barely remembers to even acknowledge I'm there. Unfortunately though I am many things. Weak, scared, useless? Probably. I've also never been a quitter. And I'm not becoming one now.
No I'm going to become a hero, I know it.

“Promise you won’t be mad?”
“Do not make me lie to you, Midoriya Izuku.”
“Right. Sorry. Bad start,” Midoriya squeaked. Shouta could almost see the kid on the other end of the line, probably vibrating with enough nervous energy to power a small city. “Seriously, this whole t-thing was—uh, everybody’s okay. Physically! Everyone is fine. Uh—well. The property damage is... mostly covered by insurance? Probably?”
Shouta closed his eyes and leaned his head against the headboard with a dull, rhythmic thud. “Property damage. At one in the morning. On your break.”
“Just a bit?”
“What happened?” Shouta drew out the words, each syllable dripping with a bone-deep exhaustion.
“I—” A long pause followed, then a whisper so thin it barely carried through the speaker. “I got into a fight.”
“Where?”
The silence on the other end was deafening.
“Midoriya Izuku,” Shouta warned, using the kid's full name again, his voice dropping into that low, dangerous territory that usually made students scramble for cover.
“A bar,” Midoriya finally whispered.

It had been two and a half months since the end of Spring Break.
Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
What the fuck was wrong with him?
