Summary
The first time Zuko met Aang was when he had snuck out of the palace at age 14.
Because somehow this led to Zuko finding a baby monk yelling his lungs out for help from the top of a tree that he was very clearly stuck in despite any possible air bending the young monk could have done.
And somehow, 2 years later this led to both boys being caught in a storm that had them frozen in ice for the next 100 years

Summary
The Fire Nation royal family are half dragon, as they are descended from dragons. Zuko joins the Gaang early after his banishment. One year into his banishment, Zuko gives up wanting to capture the Avatar in order to come back home. Instead he wants to help the Avatar. However when Zuko does find the Avatar and his companions, to say they don’t like him is an understatement.

Summary
When Zuko was thirteen, his father attempted to kill him by the command of Firelord Azulon, burning through half of his face with the fiercest flame he could conjure. When Zuko failed to die, Ursa begged for her son’s life in exchange for the Firelord’s. She fled with her children after delivering counterfeit poison to Ozai and they hid among the refugees of Ba Sing Se.
A baby was left at their door when Zuko was seventeen, from an encounter he could not recall. His mother wailed harder than the newborn infant when she found out about his work as an escort. He quit that day, and named his daughter Izumi.
At twenty-three, Zuko meets Katara and Sokka, who both fled their homes as children to seek refuge from the raids of their tribe. However, Zuko meets them in very different circumstances: Katara as a trainee at the strip club he works at, and Sokka as his daughter’s teacher at Ba Sing Se Primary School.

Zuko stared up at him with his large, gold eye. “How are you on the Sovereign then? We’re just barely out of Fire Nation Waters, you know.”
It was a perfectly reasonable question, Zuko thought, but the expression on the man’s face switched from constipated to ashy, so he must have said something wrong. “I’m so not doing this right now.” The man muttered before bellowing. “Hakoda! Get your scrawny ass over here and handle this!”
“That’s a naughty word.” Zuko pointed out, squirming uncomfortably in the man’s grip. “Can you please put me down now?” This whole adventure had already managed to go spectacularly sideways.
