Summary
In 2009, four seemingly random men met overseas while serving in the military. All four are from different backgrounds but still form a deep friendship based on survival and genuine respect while overseas. It carries over into their lives when they discharge from the military, but it’s not years later, when they all end up in LA, that they realize how connected they are.

What’s more pathetic than being in love with your best friend and co-parenting his kid with him then co-parenting your own kid with him in return?
And what’s more pathetic than that then moving in together platonically so that the kids can have a better routine?
And more pathetic than that is sharing a bed so that the two kids can have a room each?!
And more more more more pathetic… how about adding a third child into the mix?

‘’This Theodore,’’ Theo snorts, he hated his full name. ‘’Is your birthday present,’’ Chris finishes smiling widely and pushing the box towards Theo who suspiciously looks at it like it might bite him.
‘’You could at least wrap it up,’’ Theo wriggles his eyebrows.
Chris sighs. ‘’Stop it.’’
‘’Put a little bow on it,’’ Theo teases.
‘’Theo,’’ Chris warns but his lips are curling into a little smile.
‘’What? It’s not like it’s your only baby brother’s eighteenth birthday or anything,’’ Theo teases again and Chris finally smiles.
‘’You’re impossible.’’
‘’And you love me anyway,’’ Theo sing songs.

“What happened to a united front?” She asked, getting emotional. It wasn’t her fault she was emotional right now, she had an insane amount of hormones running through her body.
“You tell me.” Buck finally turned and looked at her. “You never told me you were getting so close to them again. I had no idea you were talking to them frequently enough to be able to invite them out, let alone that they would actually agree. You told me when you first got here not to tell them you were here, and you have never asked anything about our relationship since then.”
“What’s there to tell?” Maddie huffed, getting to her feet and walking over to him. “Seriously, you accepted me so easily, why would they be any different?”
“What’s our motto?” Buck asked quietly.
“What’s that-”
“They aren’t bad people, just bad parents.” Buck said, cutting her off. “Or did you only ever say that for my benefit?”
“Buck.” Maddie said his name sadly. “Please.”
“No.” Buck said, shaking his head again. “No, and if that’s all you wanted to talk to me about you should go.”

Din Djarin wakes up on the Razorcrest as his eight year old, freshly orphaned self, with thirty years of memories weighing on his mind. He knows it was real (why would he still have this stupid lasersword otherwise?) and has one goal: to find Grogu and make sure he’s safe. Who knows, maybe he’ll try to save the galaxy, if it’s convenient. First, he has to figure out what’s going on, but all his long-dead Mandalorian caretaker will tell him is they’re going to visit their ally on a stormy ocean planet.
OR: A time travel fix-it AU starring Din Djarin as he faces the Jedi, the Creed, the Darksaber, and himself. He and his friends, both new and old, take on the task of saving the entire galaxy from the Sith to prevent the Empire’s existence.
