Summary
Link is a NASCAR driver and Zelda is his crew chief on a team owned by her father. Hi-jinks and hilarity ensue.
Backstory: bahbahhh drew some art after a couple of us on the Zelink Community Discord server started batting around a LoZ NASCAR AU.
Massive thank you to bahbahhh for giving me her blessing to step into the AU which she brought to life and letting me write some fun little scenes in it. She’s pretty amazing :)

For all I know, the princess of this story might be an apocryphal princess: another fiction to feature, rather senselessly, among uncountably many fictions. For all I know, she might be wandering by your side, still drifting, still searching, still unmoored in all her myriad lives.
Because listen: in this story, Princess Zelda briefly broke free from time.

The Demon King has been defeated, but not without a terrible cost.
After they fall from the sky, Link discovers that Zelda is no longer the princess he once knew. Zelda chose to sacrifice her heart and mind just to give him a fighting chance, and now, in the aftermath of the battle, he must come to terms with what that decision truly means.
For some sacrifices are not so easily taken back.

This is easily one of the best angst to comfort stories written. Crepe's prose is absolutely incredible. There won't be a dry eye in the theatre if it were a movie.
Makes me want to tend my garden and plant more bulbs.

Summary

Zelda knew coming back from Uni and stepping into her Princess role full time was going to be a tough adjustment. To keep her ailing father out of the gossip papers Zelda becomes a party girl in order to gain the attention of the Great Fairy Gossipmonger. It'll be easy to lose her guards, act up, while going on her official Tour of Hyrule, until Link is appointed to head her security detail.
The very same one she had hooked up with a hundred days ago.
