    "So where’s your boyfriend tonight?"
    "He’s… not my boyfriend anymore."
    "Why not?"
    "He didn’t want to be."
    "Idiot."

The war is over. The scars remain. Hogwarts has reopened to give its 8th years a second chance. But healing isn't in textbooks and clean corridors—it’s in shadows, stares, and the unspoken things between ex-enemies.

Draco Malfoy is a fucking mess—sexed-up, sharp-tongued, and heartbroken in ways he won’t say out loud. Hermione Granger is raw, guarded, and has never once asked what she wants. Not sexually. Not emotionally. Not ever.

She doesn’t expect him to look at her like that.

She doesn’t expect to want him back.

But she does want. She wants to know what it’s like to lose control. To be seen. To be touched like it means something.

Draco’s touched everyone. But never like this. Never her.

A story of hate, heat, and the slow, devastating undoing of everything they thought they knew—about themselves, and each other.

re·gres·sion: return to a former or less developed state

16 years have passed since the Battle of Hogwarts and the Wizarding world has gained some semblance of peace.

Draco Malfoy is no longer the hot-headed boy he was during the war, but has matured and faced his dark past. However, Draco's growth is tested when occult-like murders rock the DMLE and he is asked to return to England to assist in solving them.

Hermione Granger is still haunted by the ghosts of her past. She works for the DMLE as a rune and ward specialist, but she harbors resentment towards the Ministry of Magic for its lack of progress following Voldemort's defeat.

What happens when Draco and Hermione are assigned as partners to solve the murders? Will they be able to place their differences aside and catch the culprit before another Dark Lord emerges?

    …Probably.

    Summary

'Every tale is a tragedy when viewed in a certain light, but these are our memories, Oliver, laid out in black and white, and should I be destined to share Maman’s fate, I’m wont to ensure that someone, someday, will remember us.'

Five years after his impromptu visit to Dartmouth University, Elio sends Oliver the journal he kept when he was the most hard-done-by teenager on earth. Will the yellowed pages shed a new light on the summer of ‘83? And in the face of such revelations, is it too late to make amends with the man who changed his life?

This whole series took me out at the knees. This is the type of writing Shakespeare couldn’t have dreamed of.
