Pomni and Jax haven't spoken since their fight a week ago. She is tired of them avoiding each other.
When her initial talk with him doesn’t go as planned, she decides to act like everything is normal, and so does he.
When he starts being nicer than usual to her, resulting in an exhausting back and forth attitude, she puts distance between them until he can figure out his feelings. He ignores them, as Jax does.

Pomni lost count of the days since Jax abstracted. Trapped in her room, drowning in guilt and regret, she believes she's lost any chance to make things right. But one night, she discovers that fate has given her a second chance: a copy of Jax has appeared in the circus.

Summary
Nobody really believed that unabstraction was possible. Nobody...except for Pomni.
Jax's words rang in her head every day. "I don't wanna go." His final plea, his last desperate grasp at life. It didn't matter what he'd done, he deserved to live just as much as they did. She wasn't going to let it be ignored.
Now that her plans have worked out better than anyone could have expected...Jax has to grapple with the fact that he's conscious again. Not only that, but every horrible thing he's done is getting a second chance to eat at him.
All that's left for him is a group of people who care for him, and a lot of apologies that need to be made.

Summary
As Pomni confides in her about that argument with Jax, Ragatha recognizes the words he once threw at her to keep her away. She sees through his tricks now and is determined to help him get better. Even upon realizing that he won't allow another person to come close to him, Ragatha is willing to sacrifice more than she is able to give at the moment.
It all doesn't matter. What matters is that Jax steps away from the edge he has slowly pushed himself towards with his self-destructive tendencies.
And if Ragatha has to use his own lies against him for it, she will.“Aren't I just a toy for you to play with? If I'm only that, my feelings don't matter. What matters is that you do what helps you. I can't tell you what that is. Only you can. But whatever you need, you can use me for it.”

They all watched him fall— The funny, comic relief character. How ironic was that? The one who told jokes with a beaming smile now hid amongst pillows with sorrow.
They were probably laughing at him outside of the pillowfort, Jax decided with a scoff, squinting at the light coming out of the pillowfort. Somebody must’ve forgotten to cover the entrance.
Whatever.
Jax looked down, feeling the familiar yet odd glitchness of his animalistic limbs, his multiple eyes opening and closing— arrays of colour filling the corners of his vision, reminding him of the depiction of people being high.
It was rare to think, Jax had come to terms with that. The abstraction was like a mind of its own, commanding for blood and violence in an animalistic tone.
And all he could really do was wait for that opening, wait for the cage to creak open ever so slightly so he could feel human again, even if it was never noticeable by whoever was around him.---
OR: Pomni and the rest are persistent in constantly talking to Jax, unaware that he's listening in with complete consciousness, slowly regaining his sanity with each one sided conversation.Bookmarked by RandomBlack78

Zooble works out a deal with Caine to allow the circus gang the ability to have sex, in addition to a bar being avaliable as a regular room in the circus. Zooble and Gangle are the first to get together, followed by Jax and Pomni. Ragatha gets involved in a throuple with Zooble and Gangle, but can't ignore the feelings she has for the other pair (especially Pomni). After some nights of chats at the bar, the conversations get a bit spicier. Jax jokes about the idea of having an orgy, but maybe it actually isn't a horrible idea? Maybe it could help the group get over their complicated feelings and get a bit closer.
(No Kinger involved in the sexual stuff, he's the group dad and a widower and I can't see him any other way)Taking place a few weeks after episode 6, ignoring the whole "escape the Circus" and Caine crashout arcs. The crew starts actually talking to Caine and giving proper suggestions and feedback. Things are mostly unchanged, but some tension between Caine and the group is lessened and Caine is getting to be more open to giving the humans more freedom

(in this fanfic, the fight club isn't in a video game, it's the real world, just looney tune kinda vide)

"jax" is a closed trans woman (MTF) who privately goes by the name jaz, (short for jasmine), nobody knows this expect for pomni, but during a box match, jax get's outed by his opponent (ryan, a raccoon character that goes by the stage name the iron punch) and is publicly humiliated and degraded in front of everybody, it breaks her down to the point of tears and she runs away and though she does eventually return to the ring, but that won't stop ryan from sabotaging the fights to earn jaz's spot, and he's wiling to go low.
