Rosemary was cleaning the kitchen, when she heard the front door open.
'Oh! Miles must be home!' She happily thought.
She placed her cleaning supplies down, and left the kitchen, walking through the archway to the living room to greet him at the front door.
He was trudging into the house, head angled toward the ground, ears laid back against his head.
"Miles! How was your day?" She asked, her tone turning softer mid sentence as she noticed how upset he looked.
"I want this stupid tail gone..." He mumbled, tugging on his second tail with disdain.
