Summary

He comes across two orphaned children and decides to help them out and temporarily take care of them until he can find an orphanage or someone to take them in. It turns out to be much more difficult than he expected.

Luffy is not proud of the fact that the first time he sees Torao in nine months, he walks into a door.
He is keenly aware that nine months is a long time. A lot of changes can occur within nine months. A lot can happen in between. He’s not so naive to believe that his former ally-now-rival-and-something-else-they-don’t-have-a-name-for-yet wouldn’t have changed in the nine months they haven’t seen each other.
And yet, he is still somehow caught off-guard.
