Summary
Angel's never been particularly good at accepting care. Turns out Fat Nuggets and Husk are equally bad at giving up on trying to make him feel better. Maybe, on days when Valentino's influence lingers long after work, that isn't the worst thing to happen.

Summary
A week has passed since Red and Purple took down the impostor and released the ticking time bomb of Ore+ the Skeld had been carrying. Through heaps of talking, apologizing, and thinking through what comes next, they've each resolved to resign from MIRA before the higher-ups can persuade or threaten them otherwise. In the meantime, there's simpler things for them to tend to, like trying to put furniture together and doing their best at making pizza... but when Red has a dream they'd like to immediately forget, the two see something in each other that makes them realize just how much they'd lost over the past years.

Summary
(Angel Dust ran out of things to say, so he ended up where he usually did this time of night: laying on the counter, watching Husk wipe the surface around him through half-closed eyelids. Right up to the point where the bartender flicked the wet towel on his face, urging him to move.
“Ugh, a please would’ve been nice,” he whined as he pulled himself up.
“You leavin’ at last call would have been nicer,” Husk answered, finishing up as he tossed the cloth over his shoulder.
“You like me here.” (Please like me here)
The other just grunted in response, turning away to organize the booze on the back shelves and possibly to choose something for himself as well. Angel smiled, leaning his elbows on the counter, resting his chin on the back of his hands. His other two arms remained crossed on his legs. He didn't get offended by the lack of answer, mostly because he wasn't in the mood of receiving a friendly insult with grace. Well, as friendly as Husk could get, but the spider learned how to read (into) his reactions over these last few months.)
Angel and Husk's friendship turns to something more delicate as they help eachother after hard days and even harder nights.
