Summary
Suguru Geto was taught from the moment he was born to fear God- to listen, obey, and never question. Satoru Gojo was taught to fear nothing at all. So when Satoru moves from New York to live with his grandmother in Parkdale, Arkansas in October of 1958, it’s only natural that he makes waves in their small rural town.
From then on, Suguru is forced to confront everything he thought he knew- about himself, about God, and about the church that raised him.

Summary

After ten years living abroad, sterling aviator Gojo Satoru returns to Japan for a short visit amid the demands of his busy career. Still, what starts as a summer holiday morphs into something different when Satoru realizes the pilot who is flying him home is his old childhood friend and sweetheart, Getou Suguru.
Suguru is a pilot who can’t fly, stagnant in his career. He has sabotaged his family business, the Sato Aero Club, on the brink of bankruptcy. Self-stuck by his own fears, he has resigned to a quiet life as ground crew until he gets the chance to fly a very special passenger.
OR, Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo are two kids who are as in love with aviation as with each other, and make a promise: one day, when they grow up, they will become pilots and soar the skies together. Yet, crosswinds of life are daunting and may drift apart even the strongest aviators so when fate reunites them after years apart, will they be able to learn how to fly side by side again?

But, God help him, he doesn’t.
“…fine.”
Satoru smiles and then he’s there. Suguru is still sitting, and Satoru leans down to get close to his face. Too close.
Shit, he should’ve said no.
His hand comes up, gentle, fingers brushing along Suguru’s jaw before settling at his cheek. Suguru’s breath catches as he stares back into Satoru’s sapphire eyes.
Then Satoru leans in. His lips are warm, not like back when they kissed as Sora and Ren.
That’s the first thing Suguru registers.

Suguru lands his first lead role, expecting long days and scripted intimacy.
What he doesn’t expect is how easily he falls into rhythm with his co-star…
…and the cough that catches him off guard soon enough, as the line between acting and reality blurs—irreversibly.
