Summary
It was a long shot—an impossibly long shot—but it was all he had.
Harry lunged for the photo, his bloodied nose dripping crimson onto the paper as he scrambled for something to write with. But Vernon had locked away all of Harry’s things to prevent him from contacting anyone. In desperation, Harry smeared his blood across the photo with trembling fingers, scrawling three words:
Please help me.
He signed it with a shaky, almost illegible ‘Harry’ before stumbling to Hedwig’s cage. He flung the door open and shoved the photo into her talons, his breath coming in sharp, uneven gasps. Vernon’s angry bellows grew louder as he forced the door open, splinters of wood flying into the room.
“T-take it to Professor Snape!” Harry rasped, barely able to speak through the panic and exhaustion.
Hedwig let out a distressed hoot as Harry squeezed her through the narrow bars of the window. He turned just as Vernon burst into the room, his face purple with fury, his breathing ragged.

Summary
Magic will follow intent. He has been told that in every class, every year, since he first stepped foot in Hogwarts. No spell, no potion—nothing will work unless your intent is clear and your mind is focused. So he’s not really surprised to find himself here once again—on the precipice of highly improbable, though not impossible, magic.
After all, he is “The Boy Who Lived.” So he’ll figure out a way to live through this like he always does, because Harry Potter always perseveres—even if he can’t be “Harry Potter” anymore, and it’s 1974, and Voldemort is at the height of his power, and Severus Snape has, weirdly enough, really pretty eyes.
“Yeah,” Harry thought as he attempted to ignore that last bit his mind unhelpfully added on, “I can do this.”

Settle
1. To resolve or reach an agreement
2. To pay (a debt or account)
3. To make one’s permanent home
4. To pacifyHe gave the back of Harry’s neck a gentle squeeze, though the tension there was already dissipating along with his fear. Hopefully he would learn, in time, that Severus was not so fragile a man. That fury wouldn’t live in their house, or anywhere on the grounds, no matter how it had haunted their lives, before.

All Harry Wanted To Do Was Fix His Bike by Hockey_Lover31

Summary
He thought his project was innocent enough. Fix the bike his godfather had so it was back in working conditions after he moved the America to get away from the magical community of Britain. It meant he wouldn't have to be in the spotlight, he could take his mind off the war, easily watch his godson while Andy grieved, and NOT join the Auror program like the wizardry world expected him to. Of course, he forgot that he was Harry Potter and nothing was ever innocent. His bike became alive and very much lupine in appearance. Course, this meant nothing to Harry expect when he, Teddy, and DogStar just lands in a war between autobots and decepticons.
How lovely.
