Summary
Not all men are created equal.
That was the wall Izuku Midoriya had been confronted with at the age of four. Six words that society seemed built upon.
For years, he heard logic, confronted with bitter truths, and readily ignored all of them. If the world thought it was impossible, he would just have to make the impossible possible.
It wasn’t like it hadn’t happened before; All Might had done the impossible plenty of times.
It was that ideology that kept him going. Elementary school, Junior High—when the going got tough, it was that small, illogical childhood dream that allowed him to get back up, no matter how many times he’d been pushed down.
Until he actually met All Might.
All Might—the untouchable hero he dreamed of becoming, justice materialized, hope personified—had told Midoriya his dream was unrealistic.
Ambition is good, unless you become too ambitious. Some impossibilities were just that, impossible. Of all the volumes of Hero Analysis, thirteen felt the heaviest, weighted down by a signature, water-wrinkled pages, and the dredges of a dream.
…
It doesn’t have to be the hero course, just as long as it’s UA.
There are other ways to be a hero.
