Summary
Draco Malfoy has survived a war, the French Ministry's singing pixies, and a concerning fixation on people's jugulars. What he cannot, apparently, survive is Hermione Granger in a pencil skirt telling him he's "over-compensating for the drift."
Hermione Granger has approximately seven contingency plans for every situation.
Except the one where Draco Malfoy has been showing up to work in Tom Ford suits for two years straight.It's Valentine's Day at the British Ministry, where HR (?) is demonstrably understaffed and the decorations are causing psychosexual visions in public spaces. (OSHA could never.)
Between the obscure vampire laws that keep accidentally triggering, Hermione's increasingly unhinged flirting strategy, and his own overfraught senses firing all over the place, Draco is starting to think two years of pining was the easy part.
Hermione, meanwhile, has just realized the man she's been obsessing over has fangs.
This is going to end in either a bloodbath or a bed.

Summary
The air in the kitchen was rich with the scent of baking.
He reached around her, chest warm against her back, and set the serving spoon on the counter. For a moment they lingered there—her whisking, him solid and present. The cream was smooth and pale, catching the afternoon light.
“Perfect timing on the cake,” he murmured, lips brushing the shell of her ear.
“Is it? I feel like I just… began,” she admitted with a laugh. “But it smells right.”
“When you’re busy up here”—he tapped lightly at her temple—“time doesn’t stand a chance.”
She arched an eyebrow, fighting back a smile. “If focus could bend temporal mechanics, arithmancers would be immortal.”
“Only the clever ones who survive the paradox cascade. You’d navigate it flawlessly, of course.”
The cream had formed perfect peaks, but Hermione barely noticed. Her whisk hovered mid-air, eyes wide. Something hot and electric shot through her chest as his words sank in.
“Who are you?” she whispered in awe. The timer chimed then, mellow and silver, harmonizing with the wind chimes.

Summary
“You need to stop!” She finally managed to gasp after several thick swallows, once her pipes were cleared.
“Wh-” she didn’t let him question her as she slammed her fork down on the kitchen island.
“I- I know you’re not doing it on purpose, Malfoy, and it’s fine in the pub where it’s neutral territory- but we’re in your kitchen, and I can see your socks, and that’s very intimate, and how you’re acting- like- like you like me, it’s making me think things and- it’s confusing. Is this because I mentioned the thing about human contact and the milkman earlier?” She took a heaving breath and wished to all the gods she had just kept the chicken in her mouth. “Sorry,” she finally spoke after a tense silence, “I didn’t mean to shout.”
Draco Malfoy blinked at her for a solid minute. It looked as though he was picking over every word she’d vomited at him. “I do like you,” he finally said, in a very neutral tone.

Summary
At 11 years old, Hermione’s life is abruptly turned upside down when she is forced to make an impossible choice: trust either Bellatrix or Severus, both of whom are strangers, and both of whom claim they want to save her from the other. With no idea what to do, Hermione puts her trust in the only other person present, a small boy with white-blonde hair and, unbeknownst to her, seals their fate for the foreseeable future.
