   Summary

   Five years after the war, Hermione Granger is a shell of who she once was. Locked away in an insane asylum, her mind fragmented by what she saw/did during a mission.

   The Ministry claims she was driven mad by Bella's cursed blade.

   When a new law passes, that requires the rehabilitation and release of all children of war, Hermione is to be set free. However, there's a stipulation: someone must take responsibility of her or she will remain institutionalised indefinitely.

   Riddled with guilt, Draco Malfoy steps up.
