Summary
The summer after tenth grade would be different. Not any different for Seungkwan — the heatwaves and long trips to go to the east coast beaches were simply routine. He was well practiced in wearing lots of SPF, though he'd still end up burning in places he thought the sun couldn't reach. Most of all, his job in his family's fields was a lot easier because they had sprinklers to water the trees, not to mention the rain that showed up every other day. He wouldn't have to tire his back muscles from constantly grabbing and picking plump oranges, like he would during the entire other half of the year.
Seungkwan wasn't worried about the summer. Hansol was.
And yet, Hansol never had a more fun summer in his 16 years of life.
Seungkwan and Hansol have a rough start to their relationship. Once they get going, neither of them know how to stop.

Summary
Hansol reads the exchange over and over and over. He still can’t put a finger on why he can’t get it out of his brain. He’s been texted by wrong numbers before, but there’s something about this one. Maybe it’s the all lowercase. Maybe it’s the insistence that he respond, and quickly. Maybe it’s just that he’s lonely and hasn’t had a friendly, no-strings conversation with anyone in what feels like a very, very long time.
He switches over to Seokmin’s texts asking for a clarifying question on a bit they’d recorded the day before. Then, his phone buzzes and he does a double take at the banner at the top of his screen.
It’s the unknown number from the night before.

Spider-Man laughs quietly, glancing away and then back. “Don’t be sorry. What is it?”
“Sorry, but,” Seungcheol repeats, voice halting, slowly gaining strength. “Do I… know you?”
Spider-Man tilts his head at an angle, the white eyes of his mask narrowing. “I don’t think so,” he says, firm, and sails right out the door.
Seungcheol doesn't know why Jeonghan has always been so distant. Seungcheol doesn't know that Jeonghan is Spider-Man.
